Accor partners Fragrance Group and Global Premium Hotels to open three new Singapore properties
The finalizings for the three new resorts are the most recent in Accor’s established relationship with Fragrance Group and Global Premium Hotels, the two of which are owned by Koh Wee Meng, chairman of Fragrance Team.
The alliance at the moment has a collection of 17 resorts in Singapore, five in Australia and 3 in the UK. The resorts are under brand names just like MGallery, Mövenpick, Novotel, Mercure, Handwritten Collection, ibis Styles and ibis Budget.
“This signing not only demonstrates the strong interest from operators and financiers for brands within Accor but similarly enhances our obligation to top the region’s expansion and redefining the potential of hospitality in Asia,” states Garth Simmons, COO of Accor’s costs, midscale and economy section in Asia.
The other real estate, located at Waterloo Street, will be the site of a new resort under the Handwritten Collection Brand Name. The 502-key property is the second in Singapore following the Handwritten Collection brand, complying with the launch of Resort Faber Park Singapore– Handwritten Collection in late 2023.

“These brand-new commercial properties will enable us to carry on curating enriching experiences for our visitors and further expand our hospitality services in Singapore,” includes Fragrance Group’s Koh.
Global hospitality member Accor has already inked an arrangement with Fragrance Team and Global Premium Hotels to open 2 new-build real estates that will house 3 hotels. All three hotels are going to be open up by 2027.
Some of the two new properties lies at Hoe Chiang Road. It will definitely house the 808-key Mövenpick Singapore, the biggest Mövenpick hotel in the Asia Pacific region. It will definitely also house Mövenpick Living Singapore, a 37-key accommodation targeted at tourists seeking expanded stays.
