Former JLL Apac CEO Anthony Couse joins Elevate Capital as partner
Elevate Capital Group has introduced the appointment of Anthony Couse as an affiliate. According to a Sept 8 press release, Couse, the past chief executive officer for Asia Pacific (Apac) at JLL, will deal with Elevate establisher and regulating affiliate Ashish Manchharam to “speed up the firm’s expansion, with a purpose on scaling investor collaborations, increasing purchases, and boosting possession supervision guidelines”.

Manchharam even started his career at JLL. He put in beyond 12 years at the company, where he focused on investment deals and funding markets throughout Hong Kong, Singapore, and the larger region. In 2014, he left JLL and consequently established realty investment company 8M Real Estate. In 2023, Manchharam got out 8M Real Estate, offering his share in the business to Hong Kong-based Crane Capital for a concealed amount.
Couse spent around 35 years at JLL. His last function at the firm was as Apac CEO, a position he kept in between 2016 and January 2025. Before that, he was managing director for Eastern China and Shanghai for more than a decade, and additionally spent 12 years at JLL’s Hong Kong workplace.
In August 2024, Elevate acquired Stamford Court, a commercial building on Hill Street in the Downtown Core, in a joint venture with PGIM Realty for $132 million.
